Hello, In the TAMU portal I got my major changed to Blinn-TEAM general studies. I assumed that means I'm admitted to the Blinn-TEAM program. If so the big question is... will/can I be in the Corps at College Station beginning Fall 2022?

Yes you can be in the Corps as a Blinn Team student. I have a friend whose son is in the Blinn engineering program and is in the Corps, lives in the barracks, and is in the Fighting Aggie Band. You need to keep a specific GPA to guarantee admission to your first choice of major. My friend’s son takes half of his classes at Blinn which is a short bus ride from A&M.

@smc2026...are you still waiting to hear about an ROTC scholarship? Because if you receive one, you may be able to have the detachment (whichever branch) pull you into main campus. I know for my DD, the AFROTC detachment told her that if she received a scholarship, they may be able to help her get over. She applied the very last day to A&M (her brother made her) so we weren't surprised being OOS that she got a 2ndary choice. Obviously she didn't choose there, but something to keep in mind.

I'll be a College Programer for NROTC. I'm going to try and pick up a 3 year side-load scholarship after fish year. I'm still trying to decide between Aero Eng and Physics for my major. Any thoughts?
