Teacher Recommendations

I am a college reapplicant and I have an issue with my recommendations. USAFA asks for recommendation letters from a math and English teacher. This past cycle I used my junior math and English teachers. I was unable to form a connection with my senior year teachers due to the virus shutting down schools in the semester I had those teachers. In college, I am not scheduled to take a math or English course (Stats second semester) and I cannot switch around my schedule because my school isn't allowing it. I know it would be bad to use the same recommendation letters from last year, but I really don't see another option. I plan on talking to my academic advisor when I go to college to see if I can get a math class in my first semester, but they have already said that schedules are pretty much set in place and I already have 22 credit hours the first semester and I am afraid to add on more. Any thoughts?

Personally I would contact your admissions counselor and see what they recommend

I would also try as hard as I can to get at least one math and/or science class in your first semester. USAFA is a STEM oriented school as you know, and if you can prove that you can excel at those classes, it will make your application a lot better.

Good luck!

Thank you for your reply. I will be taking biology and chemistry during my first semester and I will try and fit in a math course.
