Plans have changed. We paid in full (and is non-refundable) for the Executive Super Suite (sleeps up to 6) at the Thayer for R-Day from Sunday, June 26, 2022 to Tuesday, June 28, 2022 (R-Day timeframe). Anyone interested in taking over this reservation let me know, we will forgo fees and taxes and only ask for the nightly rate $559.00 that they charged us. Unfortunately, they were unable to issue refund but said I could make other arrangements so figured I'd try and recoup the hotel expense if possible. Thanks in advance!

Have you shared this on the West Point Moms or West Point Dads page?

I keep seeing "within 5 miles of WP'. Can someone please explain why we need to stay within 5 miles for A-day? At this point, almost everything is booked.

From what I have read, this was a requirement last year due to covid rules. Usually the distance is further out, I can't remember the exact distance. There has not been official correspondence on the distance plebes are allowed to travel during A-day weekend, so parents are trying to book within the 5 mile radius in the case that it remains the same as last year. If the rule remains the same, parents who cannot book within the 5 mile radius can picnic and hang out with their student on campus.
