Cyber Security merges several related career fields - offers another avenue to serve our country in either the DOD, or any number of federal agencies, while building a terrific resume for future employment. During my last ten years at a Fortune 50 company I probably spent 25% of my time dealing with cyber security issues. Stevens is studying as part of the first group of cadets with The Citadel Department of Defense Cyber Institute. Additionally, the Blythewood, South Carolina native was also recently awarded an Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Cyber Security Scholarship. AFCEA is a professional association for those engaged in defense, security and all related technology disciplines."
