For those interested in applying to The Citadel, these short interviews of current cadets offer insight on The Citadel experience from the cadet view. The Department of Nursing is particularly competitive and a difficult 4 year curriculum. To manage the Corps of Cadets, Nursing curriculum, and an NCAA D1 sport, is quite an accomplishment. See full interview at: https://today.citadel.edu/my-ring-story-leaning-in-to-the-challenges-toward-triumph/

I found a interesting series, a podcast that explains everything you need to possibly know, many hours long... If anyone wants to listen. It was recommended to me, by a former graduate C/O 2009.

Admissions created a number of Virtual sessions during the Pandemic that cover academic majors, life in the SCCC, all four ROTC Departments and other subjects. They can be accessed here (note some take 5 minutes to start be patient or move the counter forward): https://www.youtube.com/c/TheCitadelCadetAdmissions

Sir, would you be aware if the Citadel offers financial aid to students who want to come tour campus?

No, but it never hurts to ask. You should have an Admissions counselor assigned to your state or region who can answer questions you have. And - applicants and accepted cadets can always register for a Citadel Virtual Info Session at www.preknob.com. This will allow them to schedule a direct presentation from a counselor and allow for them to be directed to the appropriate person for any additional information that they are looking for.
