The Citadel Lags Behind Military Schools in Commissioning

Catdog, Thanks for the clarification. Interesting to see Penn State, UVA, & Arizona State in the top 10. Also interesting which schools not listed in the top tier of Navy and Marine Corps commissioning.

Thought The Citadel's numbers would be higher, but then again seeing VMI, VT, and TAMU leading America in almost every category is inspiring.
And coming in at #7 overall Nationally while commissioning only Army Officers is an impressive accomplishment for the University of North Georgia.
At the end of the day, great to see America's Senior Military Colleges all placing in the Top 10.

Agree, slides and info in this thread is very useful to students, especially those looking to commission into the military.
 
I know several graduates from Citadel who were cadets and none of them went into the military. But still thought the numbers would be higher.
