Anyone else slowly dying inside over the wait?
I think anything is up to the air on the 23rd there will prob be some acceptances on the 23rd as well as deferrals. I think prep school might be only if you get a deferral and have to do RD? I'm not sureYes! I was reading something before and I just want to clarify, do denials only come out on the 23rd? What about, deferrals, prep school, etc.?
You get used to it. (but yes, dying) Consider it practice for service life.Anyone else slowly dying inside over the wait?
If it's like last year, EA appointments were received from early November till pretty close to the EA decision deadline, with most being received by 12/21. Then starting around the 21st, folks got notification of being wait listed, deferred to RA, or offered CGAS spots. Finally, actual denials brought up the rear by appearing in portals on 12/23. This is my recollection anyway.Yes! I was reading something before and I just want to clarify, do denials only come out on the 23rd? What about, deferrals, prep school, etc.?
Every time my daughter's phone rings, her heart starts racing. It will be the most important call she has ever gotten. Although, I may be more anxious about than she is thoughAnyone else slowly dying inside over the wait?
Fellow mom here. I concur!Every time my daughter's phone rings, her heart starts racing. It will be the most important call she has ever gotten. Although, I may be more anxious about than she is though
I totally agree! I actually think the wait has been harder for me than it has been for my daughter! It's making me crazy!Fellow mom here. I concur!
I hope decisions come soon. This is incredibly stressful.
Best of luck to all.
Yep! Also the civilian colleges are coming out in 2 weeks so a lot of career and even life changing decisions coming our way
Early Action decisions are also being released thenAre you saying you applied ED to a civilian school and SAs as well?
Early Action decisions are also being released then
As long as everything on applicants part is done then try to forget about it and you will hear when you hear. I thought DS was as anxious as DW and I but was wrong. After a weekly phone call from Coach in mid March, 3 hours later I asked, hey how was call with Coach? Anything new updates? DS says oh yeah, I received appointment to CGAS just need medical waiver. Wife and I were floored he didnāt run to us with info.Fellow mom here. I concur!

DD applied EA last year and on 12/23 got an offer to CGAS. Remember at CGA about 70 or 1/3 of the students attend prep before the Academy. Prep offers come throughout the application cycle I believe and there are prep waitlists also. Admissions has a LOT of moving parts. Good Luck everyone!!I think anything is up to the air on the 23rd there will prob be some acceptances on the 23rd as well as deferrals. I believe CGA is only service academy with early action. I donāt see them listed on the data on the attached link. My understanding is CGA has had early action as a regular part of the process which makes me question the validity of the source. Just my humble opinion based on my observation. Some, yes. Most are well after that:

I wasnāt questioning you, I am questioning the source, you never presented it as definitive, but the author did in some regards..., below is quoted from the articleā¦ They update all of the time and itās Dec. CGA is a known EA school, so what do the update the list based on? They also say thisā¦ā To make the wait a little less painful, weāve compiled a list of Early Decision, Early Action, and Early Decision II deadlines for the Class of 2026, so you can be prepared for the timing of your admissions decision.ā They donāt present the data as examples based on the quote below. āHere are theā¦ā is a very definitive statement.Uhhh....thanks for the info.
As there are almost 4,000 colleges and universities in the US and even US News ranks only 1400 of them, I didn't say a list with 111 or so was definitive. This was just an example of how many EA decisions are 1/1/22 and beyond.
Spot checking the dates listed, they appear to be correct.
