Whether you "question the source" or not, the fact remains that most EA decisions are after 1/1/22.

Check the list against the schools' websites. Then go and find some other list and see the same.

It should be a healthy debate that we all can learn from, it’s not the Hatfields & McCoy’s.
 
Thanks for the input. It is not a debate as there is nothing to debate.

Count your blessings if this is your first application cycle. Our son #1 applied to class of 2024, and was declined. He reapplied to class of 2025 and is now a 4C and is extremely happy in Chase Hall.

Son #2 applied early action for class of 2025 and was declined. Now, he is reapplying to Class of 2026, regular action. The wait is tough, but if they really want this, it is worth the wait! Have a plan B . I am grateful they both had a year at civi college to strengthen their belief that this is the right place for them.

DD applied EA last year and on 12/23 got an offer to CGAS. Remember at CGA about 70 or 1/3 of the students attend prep before the Academy. Prep offers come throughout the application cyce I believe and there are prep waitlists also. Admissions has a LOT of moving parts. Good Luck everyone!!

I do realize that haha. My goal was not to go into an SA only, but to commission into the Army as an officer which I could do in ROTC. I wanted to go to Vanderbilt as I wanted to go to any of the other SA. If I get into Vanderbilt and can't go to others, I will be fine with it!
 
I think a lot of us apply for both schools - civilian and SA, as plan A, B, C.....
Hope everyone go to his/her dream school.
 
It seems that no one has posted anything about getting an appointment since before Thanksgiving. Has anyone heard differently??

Last post appointment that I saw was 11/22. Last year, there was an appointment made the day before Thanksgiving, but then nothing at all the entire week following Thanksgiving. I did see that some appointments were made on 11/30 (maybe 6 appointments) for some applicants who happen to be on campus of a "cadet for a day" visit. USCGA had it posted on their FB page. I assume they already knew these applicants were going to be offered an appointment and they decided to surprise them and give them their big news in person.
16 days left until 12/23. That makes me think that we should be seeing quite a few coming in soon. However, not all applicants or their parents are on this site. Last year 246 appointments were offered an appointment during EA, but not even half of them posted on this forum / website.

Honestly i was the same way but i realized that it was just stressing me out, regardless you'll get your decision in 9 weekdays so just kick back relax and get ready for finals lol (oh and enjoy your christmas break especially)

Seriously loosing hope. You would think the majority of people must have head by now if they are receiving an appointment, right? My DD seems pretty calm about it all, but she is so busy with life that she doesn't have time to think about it 24/7 like I do LOL ... Hanging on by a thread here LOL

Of course, you never know what the day will bring.

Oh, I don’t know. Expectation was 23 Dec and there’s still 10 days. I bet it picks up later this week and next week.
