There really have been some GOOD THINGS to come out of this Shelter-In-Place stuff

I have been bested. I am a genuflecting.

Nah, not bested...just cabin fever bringing out my inner wise ass tendencies I normally try to suppress...

Ha! I wrote "I am a genuflecting". I sound like Jethro Bodine !

Well Granny, I'm a gonna go a walkin', I reckon.

Fun list.

I had commented privately to another poster, that while I missed hugs from family and friends I wasn’t seeing in person, I was NOT missing the hugs from people I barely know, work colleagues or those to whom I have just been introduced. 😬
I'm a hugger :biglaugh:

i read this morning that pneumonia deaths, which have been tracked closely for many years, and WAY down this year - seems to support the idea that COVID is getting some credit for the work of other diseases?
or, as posted above, pneumonia is way down, as is flu, due to social distancing?
will be very interesting to see the long term studies that come out of this

I have been watching NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs (Chicago Blackhawks) from 10 years ago. It's awesome because they only show the games they won. Last night, they shut out the San Jose Sharks to go to the Stanley Cup Final. I remember watching it a decade ago, and it's almost as fun now.
Many of the current players are still on the team today. Some are retired now, and it's fun to see them when they looked like such kids.

UPDATE: I am OVER all this goody Mayberry family feeling stuff...at least presently. Every one of them is on my last raw nerve. Blinking too loudly and stuff. The dog too. And cat. And fish. SOS

Amazon Prime video has a bunch of MLB games from last year. There's only one Twins game, a good one against the Braves, but a lot of Tigers games for some reason. If I'm careful they can probably be rationed for a few weeks. Not sure what I'm going to do in May though...
