Well the vacations are over and the Reps are all back in office. My DS has contacted each Rep but fustration continues. He sent all his material in late June to all reps.
Sen Nom # 1 - Confirmed they have all material; however, web site does not show the update. Okay can live with this but still not firm in my book.
Sen Nom # 2 - Has all material except ACT which has been sent 3 times. They asked for it to be sent a 4th time but to add SAT's. Requirement is ACT "OR" SAT. ACT...& SAT sent a 4th time. Althoght they ask for one "OR" the other my son asked what to do I said to send both.
Cong Nom - No web site, called prior to Congressional vacation, they said all material was there and he would recieve a letter is a few days. Still no letter. Called the other day (post vacation) and was told they would call him back. No return call.
Other then the SAT suggestion I would like to give my DS some guidance on following up with another call but I'm not sure if I sould step in. The one thing I do know is I will not be calling. The bigger concern is knowing the dead lines are approaching. If he had to send ACT's 4 times to one of the offices what are the odds of more material being asked for because something came up missing again or worse.... too late dead line passed you are missing "X" documents!
As a type "A" person none of this is firm...too many unknowns for me. I'm sure all will be fine I just need some kind of adult / parental insight. I might not be able to get involved with my DS but I can vent here. Thoughts please!
Is this the normal practice of these offices?
Thoughts on suggested guidance to my DS?
