Anyone else here spending a LOT more time working at home since early March 2020?
Any comments, stories, reflections, etc.?
Thought it was cool last spring to work at home for, what, 2-3 weeks tops, like a vacation almost?
Working in bathrobes?
Beards? Later on, lack of beards?
Horrific "virtual" meetings?
Spending too much (or more) time working on the lawn or other home projects?
Oddly missing once-cursed hour-long commutes & listening to sports radio (or NPR)?
Wi-Fi issues at home, as spouse and/or kids are at home too & using up bandwith?
Realizing Netflix is actually horrible? Missing going to the movie theater in-person?
Wondering why there is so LITTLE mail these days?
Having an easy excuse for not going to once-deaded in-laws cookouts? (But kinda missing them anyway?)
Once (way, way back in May) viewing mask-wearing in public as weird, now viewing non-mask wearing in public as weird?
Bourbon at noon?
P.S. All of this, of course, is good natured as I acknowledge probably as many as 20% of my fellow Americans are unemployed & facing terrible economic suffering, much less those suffering from health issues from this wretched pandemic. I, and my family, have been truly blessed from lack of hardship in these trying times.
