Three Nominations??

Hi all!

I received a nomination to USMA from my congressman early in December...yesterday, I received a letter from one of my senators stating that I had received a nomination to USMA from them as well.

When I checked my portal, the nominations listed were the congressman one and TWO identical nominations (the code was the same), so there were a total of three. Does this mean that I received a nomination from BOTH of my senators, or would that just be a mistake?

And if it is not a mistake, then does that mean my chances are increased because I received three nominations to West Point?

Thanks for the clarity!

Two nominations with the same code means the MOC had two slates. You received a nomination from your congressional MOC and two nominations from the same Senator.

This increases your chances of appointment by winning a slate, but does not increase your chances of appointment as a Qualified Alternate or Additional Appointee.
