Pilot ejected. No word yet on his condition or ground damage. 4 miles south of airport.

    Hoping for the best.

    According to radio chatter:
"Pilot has been retrieved, relatively uninjured."

Thank heavens no one hurt. Wasn't the graduation today?

The plane is largely intact, and the President is waiting to greet the pilot at Peterson AFB when he is retrieved and returned.

Unfortunately, a Blue Angel crashed on a training flight today in TN, and the pilot wasn't so lucky. Bad day for aviation.
