I am writing this to thank everyone involved in my son's journey through USAFA as he just graduated with the Class of 2022. I joined this forum years ago for my two son's as one did not make it into the academy but another did. I have enjoyed reading and posting for a while and I feel I will still monitor and even chime in here and there and offer words of encouragement or advice if I can. I can't thank people enough for their sound advice and cultivated enough information to put in a "mental tool box" for use as I gave my son's advice as they moved through the process and into their careers. My first son is a 1st Lt intelligence officer and the academy graduate will go on to pilot training. Graduation and commissioning was a great experience for all. I intend to return someday for football games and just simple vacations in the Springs area as I have been used to coming for parents weekend and just visiting my son. To all future parents and cadets- enjoy the days at the academy as best you can-- cause they'll fly by.
