Hi

Is there any rhyme or rhythm to application notifications? I submitted right around the EA deadline so I am wondering if I could be notified soon?

Thank you

I'm right there with you in submitting around deadline. If I'm not wrong, mostly recruited athletes have been notified so far, with a few non-athlete applicants receiving appointments. For me personally, my portal indicates that the Board still hasn't reviewed my file.

As the website indicates, you will receive a decision by Christmas. The later you submitted, the later you will likely receive a decision.

Looking back on last years appointments, nobody reported receiving an appointment for a full week after Thanksgiving. So, I think

My DD submitted her application last week. So there isn't anyway she would hear anything before March, correct? How can you tell when the board reviews your file? Thank you. We are new to all of this so we're just figuring it out as we go along.

Most likely... All early action apps will know by 12/23 Yes, No, or back in the pool for another look hopefully by March. Not sure if they give CGAS (prep school) program appointments in the EA app period.

My guy ready to know.still working through nom appointment interviews for USMA but USGA is his preference and coach communicated he would let DS know as soon as he he knows - submitted EA in late September and had great visit this fall for Cadet for a Day. He is high qualified good student, athlete, eagle scout, did AIM as well. etc but didnt get a nomination(although got interview!) from one of the senators for USMA so feeling disappointed but still has other interviews with other member of congress and senator. Senior year is stressful - plus midyear season meet this weekend so feeling the stress.

My DS submitted his EA on the last or 2nd to last possible day for EA and received conditional acceptance on 11/21 or 11/22. I would have to look back in the 🐻 den.

He is a recruited athlete so don't know if that bumps up the review time

Only Admissions knows for sure, but for at least the past 2 years, none of the applicants who applied in the regular admission pool received notice until ~10 March. Many found out later.

My DD applied regular admission and was offered an appointment mid January. Very early!
