Timing Of Scholarship Acceptance Upload

DS has until Feb 22 to select a school (out of 3) and upload his scholarship acceptance. Feb 22 is a Saturday. We are traveling out of state to visit his #1 and #2 schools (he received the scholarship to both, plus his #4) from Feb 19-22 (no refundable flight booked months ago). He wants to confirm his choice of #1 before committing. To avoid any last minute unforseen issues relating to uploading his acceptance, would you accept #1 now and possibly deal with the headache of transferring the scholarship later, if he changes his mind after visiting. Or, wait until the visit and upload the acceptance on the last day or two of the acceptance window?
