I am having a lot of trouble improving my bb throw for the CFA. I've tried to research techniques, and that took me from 28' to 34'. I don't think arm strength is the problem because I am above average in push-ups and FAH. I think my main struggle is that my hand is not big enough to palm the basketball. Does anybody have advice of what I could do to compensate for this?

The goal is not to palm the basketball. Trying to balance it on your hand is going to make it a lot more difficult to throw with power, because you will be focused on balance. You should try "cupping" the ball between your hand and wrist area. Have part of the ball on your hand, then part of it resting on your wrist. This will allow you to wind up a good throw and possibly get more distance.

Hopefully that makes sense! :)

Engage your entire body. Generate momentum before you throw. What I did was cusp the ball between my hand and wrist. Just point your fingers towards your forearms. I'm a male who is 6'1 and plays water polo - even I couldn't palm the ball lol. It was easy to cusp the ball to support it during the throw.

Then I would move the ball around with your upper body and generate momentum. Do a couple of fake throws. Act like you are going to throw but hold onto it. Then, when you throw, snap at your hips and engage your core. Use all that energy and momentum you just built to launch the ball. Throwing a ball far from your knees is difficult but if you can engage your arm, core, and hips, it can go pretty far.
