Happy Saint Patrick's Day! Good luck to all on all fronts!
The four leaf clover may be lucky but the Shamrock is really three leafed. The true symbol of Ireland is the harp usually gold with silver strings but can be all silver or all gold. Daughters have theirs on chains which we bought in Ireland years ago. Erin Go Bragh.
I learn something here every day ...I thought the symbol of Ireland was a Draft Guiness !
Well you are actually half right. It's a black and tan, Guiness and Harp's.
Drink to the foam... anyone?
This emoticon is the two beer mugs clinking, in case it doesn't translate across operating systems.
It shows up fine on my iphone, and I am logged on via safari.
Lá Fhéile Pádraig Sona Daoibh
("Happy St. Patrick's Day to All" in the mother tongue.)
Too bad we can't upload a sound file...would love to hear it!
Is that what cost the game last year? I borrowed that from the design of the ball run shirt last year. The 13 Company logo has a three leaf clover.
The real Black and Tans were hated by the Irish. An old quote "If God had not created whiskey the Irish would rule the world".
Anchors Away reference?
If you take time to notice the Guinness symbol is a Harp.
