How does the team there work? I never applied to get a scholarship under running but I am becoming more competitive and would like to run for them. (I've already been accepted academically) During my knob year, do I just walk to the track practice and ask if i can join or is it a more difficult process? thanks

If you go to the Citadel athletics webpage and select Track and Field, there is a "Recruiting" Link that takes you to a questionnaire. I would fill out the questionnaire, and then follow up with an e-mail to the track coach, Jody Huddleston (jody.huddleston@citadel.edu). I think you can try to walk onto the team once you are a cadet here, but if you're interested in joining the team I would try to arrange that before you get here. Since Track is a spring sport, I think that you would still matriculate in August with the majority of your class (Fall athletes report in July).
