Hi! So my counselor emailed me today and said that she can't send my transcripts to WP until October 20, since my school is currently in the process of getting rid of class ranking. However, I asked my school registrar at the beginning of the summer for my official transcript, and she sent it to me WHICH included my class rank. I really want to get my app done early, so does anyone know if I'm allowed to send in my transcript by myself?
 
Is it official? Sealed by them and stamped as official and not opened? If yes, then you can, we mailed DS after school sealed, stamped, etc.
BUT if it's just a printout, then no.
 
If it's official, you can email admissions and ask them for an address to mail it to. My ALO gave me directions on this and it worked out fine. It did, however, take 3+ weeks for them to get it. Apparently, they're in the process of sorting out a lot of transcripts right now.
 
Okay! If my counselor sends it via the WP Portal, how long should it take to show up? Also around 3 weeks? I didn't know if there was an actual place where she could electronically send my transcripts, and she said she sent them this afternoon but they haven't showed up.
 
I really couldn't say how long it will take. All my ALO said was they have been getting a lot of transcripts and that it might not show up right away. I checked in with my ALO via email if they had been received about a week and a half after I sent it and she said she would tell me when they got there. I don't think there's any harm in checking in.
