Hi guys, I have a question concerning my transcript. I know it takes a while for the transcript to be read as received by the Academy because of the verification process but I was wondering if it has to be checked in the candidate portal by the deadline to be considered for admission.

The deadline is for things you have control over.

As long as it has been submitted you should be fine. My transcript was submitted by my guidance counselor months ago and it still shows up as missing. I contacted my AO and she assured me that USNA has my transcript and it will not show up until it has been fully processed. I recommend reaching out to your AO to see if USNA has the transcript. If they do you should be fine.
 
I had the same issue. I reached out to my HS GC to confirm she sent my transcript and AO to confirm she received it. Just cover all your bases and enjoy the waiting game :)

There’s a daily USNA Admissions Chat Session. In the initial greetings, type your name and candidate number. Ask the LT/admissions rep about the transcripts. The LT can verify very quickly if they have your transcripts or not.
