So my DS has a 3-year Type 2 AFROTC scholarship that will activate next fall. He is currently a freshman and is looking to transfer to a different school that also has AFROTC. Does anyone know how difficult and/or complicated this is? I think there is a waiver process that he will need to go through. I'm mainly wondering how successful others have been transferring the scholarship & also how long the process usually takes. He wants to transfer to a state school that would cover room & board, and the tuition is less than the $18000 that his current school would end up getting from the scholarship so there shouldn't be any issues with that. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
