My DS will be attending session 2 of USAFA Summer Seminar June 12-15. We are having a hard time getting reasonably flights in/out of CO Springs that align with the time requested but there are many more flights into/out of Denver that will work much better. Is there any type of shuttle that runs from Denver to USAFA. I have checked with "car services" and they want about $250 each way to do it. UBER is about $100 each way which isn't too bad but wondering if there are other alternatives. Any chance there is anyone out there from the Denver area that might be able to provide transport for Session 2? Thanks so much!

There is always the option of taking the light rail from DIA to the Union Station. From there, an Uber or taxi is much less expensive.

My son does this all the time. Cheap and easy.
Groom Shuttle to Academy Hotel, then Uber onto campus. Google Groom shuttle. Roughly 50 bucks each way for the shuttle. Runs every hour. You’re welcome.
Based on what I know, Groom doesn't operate during summer. The best way to get around this is to fly out of Colorado Springs airport and take Uber which normally costs about $50 each way.
I had the same problem finding flights to Colorado Springs. When using Google flights to find flights to the springs it would automatic default to Denver providing no options to the springs at all.
I went to the CS Airport website to determine the airlines that served it. Then I went directly to each airlines websites.
As per the CS Airport website the airlines that serve it are ;
Delta, United , Southwest, American , Sun Country Airlines and Avelo
I found that American offers a flight from my city to CS connecting through Dallas. We decided we would rather deal with a connecting flight than with gettikg him from Diia to the academy.
I don’t know if there will be a similar option from your city but if you haven’t already tried the above it’s worth a shot.

Looking closer, it looks like if they want transport from the CS airport, they want them to land before 12 noon ideally. The 1:30 time is the latest they can check in at USAFA. Departures should be booked after 3.30 pm. I had a heck of a time finding ANYTHING that worked time wise. Then I check Southwest---winner! We'll have to drive to an airport 2.5 hours away, but it saved us at least 400.00 and gave us perfect times. Best of luck!
