Trouble logging in to NROTC application

Is anyone else having trouble accessing NROTC application? We can get through to the point of login, but then it won't allow the login credentials that they emailed. Everything I've read says to use Internet Explorer - but IE no longer exists after June of this year. Tried on the new Edge version and no luck. What tricks are we missing?

Using Chrome, if you get a page indicating that the "connection is not private," and it doesn't allow you to go any further, you can click anywhere in the window and type "thisisunsafe," and it will open the page. Apparently, this is an old workaround that has been around for a while.

Yes! My son has been trying for a while now. I keep asking "did you do it yet?" and he says it's not working. I guess now I believe him. LOL!

It isn't the unsafe sit issue mentioned. He's having problems with the login credentials not being accepted. It says his account was not verified but he never received the email to verify. He tried clicking forgot password to see if that would generate another email and it won't because his account wasn't verified.

If you are just checking status of NROTC scholarship application you could try

https://netfocus.netc.navy.mil/nrotc/candidate_app/status_scholarship.aspx

this link just allows you to check status using ss# and dob.

I don't know if this email is still active, but people with issues applying could send an email help request to..... grlk_nrotc_applications@navy.mil

He could try that. Or he could try restarting his registration.
