Should I try to get an EA next year, since I didn't get one this time, or switch to AROTC? Someone told me I would get a scholarship as soon as I joined AROTC and would definitely get a commission. I'm a business/administration major with a 3.3. but I'm switching that to a foreign language to hopefully get an EA this time around, but I'm wondering if I should just switch to AROTC and get a commission/scholarship. Does anyone know if what I heard is true?

No guarantees, but I don't think the Air Force's right-sizing will be as dramatic next year. If you have been working hard for AFROTC, I won't quit yet.
Perhaps should reevaluate after the President's FY2012 budget is submitted to Congress in early August, so you can see whether DoD is being hacked. You don't need to decide now.
