I've given it a lot of thought and decided unless my SAT and ACT scores speak for themselves, I'm going to pursue the NROTC Scholarship and spending a year at the University of Illinois and transferring to USNA when I can up my SAT and ACT scores and better my grades as well since my GPA is not where I want it to be at all.
Any advice since well for one
I live in Indiana so will be going to a different state for college
Secondly I've heard at the college plebe level it's a lot more competitive to get in since USNA only accepts 30% of college applicants.

It's not only 30% accepted from college. Each class is made up of approximately 30% of post-high school candidates. Besides 30% is a big number if you think about it. If anything, we would have more to offer USNA after a year of college, versus a high schooler.

kdog15g _ congrats at getting in to U of Ill. that is an extremely difficult school to get in to!
