Trying to become competitive

Following up on the @LV2021 post above, once you decide that the military is a goal you then need to open yourself up to all the possible paths to getting there. Have you looked at the other services? How much do you know about the other academies? Have you looked into the various flavors of ROTC? If you want to fly then check into Navy and Coast Guard too. Even if it's Air Force or bust there are other paths through AFROTC and OTS, and USMMA gets graduates into the Air Force every year. Keep your eyes up and your feet moving and good things will happen.
