Our ds hasn't received a bill yet and he is heading out to sea after exams. Any of your "Old Timers" have advice on how he can get his bill and pay it before he leaves? Thanks.
Tuition? What tuition? My DS received an appointment but wasn't told anything about tuition at USMMA. I would be interested in learning what more about what this is.
Well I am not aware of my son or myself paying any tuition so far, but I have paid some fees. Why not try to log on using and see if you can get it done that way
We have always had the invoices sent to the house and I have made sure that they are paid on time. I would think you could call the school and have the bills sent home.
Our DS is also a B splitter. We received an invoice in July 2010 when he was out to sea for his first sea term. There were no fees for the 1st or 3rd term, when he would be out to sea and a $755.00 fee for the 2nd term which was not due until November 10, 2010. I am not expecting another invoice until July 2011.
Invoice information should be included in the Logging In book for the Class of 2015.
Patentesq,
When the Logging In Book for 2015 is posted, it will list the fees for your student for the upcoming school year. Here is a link to last year's fees; it's a little out of date, but it gives you an idea of what to expect.
If you have previous statements they have the fees for all three trimesters including an invoice number. You can pay online by going to www.pay.gov select agency list - "M" ; select Maritime Administration; select DOT Maritime Administration USMMA Midshipman Fees. Fill in all of the required fields and submit - you can pay by check or credit/debit card
Rc'd invoice for 3rd Tri today (3/2/2011) with due date 2/28/2011...hahaha...so, not to worry, the paperwork will come in due time..meanwhile, enjoy the ride, don't sweat the small stuff and let's get these Plebe's thru finals and onto their next milestone...Spr Break and ....perhaps, recognition!
