The roller coaster ended for DD yesterday as well. Second time getting the email and portal update "turned down". What a ride it has been, all I can say is that we are all emotionally exhausted! Our DD has learned so much throughout this process, we have no doubt that she will be successful starting this new chapter. She has been fortuntate to have so many people in her corner supporting her through this maze. An unbelievable USNA coach who kept her in the loop and went to bat for her when she was being reviewed, her Admission Counselor who happened to be from our area who met with her several times in the last two years and became a friend along the way, a BGO that she wasn't even assigned to who would regularly meet her at starbucks to give her advice and lend an ear, and a Congressional Committee who saw enough potential to give her a principal nomination in a competitive state and district. It is time for us to move on, wishing everyone good luck. Really hoping to hear some good news from last years group..Anne99,Norfolk63, For God and Country, Jimmay,USNA2015,superior rocks. Fingers crossed for you all!

it's so special to see that at a time of sorrow, what you write about is how everyone has helped your DD and how grateful you are for the support. Your DD is truly fortunate to have a parent like you and I wish her all the best in her future endeavors! The roller coaster ended for DD yesterday as well.
