do you know if the portal will change to TWE or if medically DQ'd, does it simply stay that way without any further notification? the last correspondence was 2Q letter but no indication of waiver being requested. DS assumes it's over for this year and is set on Plan B (SMC) and is planning to re-apply. DS's mom is curious :)
 
I received my TWE and on the recommendation of others, I politely asked my RC what my weak points were and what I can do but his response was cookie cutter, nothing truly of value. Where should I seek that information? Many options on the table with each being different and strong in certain areas, knowing which is best would be quite helpful. If anyone has had this problem, what did you do? Thank you.

You could also reach out to:
  • Your FFR - They won't have the same quality level of info that your RC will have but may offer you some insight.
  • Your MOC coordinator. If you established a good rapport, they might have some feedback as well.
Don't dwell on this. Dust yourself off, get up and pursue Plan B and formulate your plan to improve all aspects of your resume.

Was the correspondence about weak points via email or phone? If email, you might want to try calling. The RC is probably inundated with work at this point and can easily fire off an email that is cookie cutter just to get the item off his to do list. You might get a more candid and personal response if you call.

My DD’s portal was weird since she received 2 TWEs, same content but signed by 2 different leadership, one was signed by COL and the other one was signed by the deputy, LTC. I don’t know if this is unusual, nevertheless, she still did not get in, so she’s heading to a 4 yr AROTC she won last JAnuary. Still excited!
 
Received official word of my appointment to USMA on May 1, 2018! Happiest day of my life! Recruited athlete, 2 noms with waiver requested since January. There is still hope if you are STILL waiting.
