Two of the same nominations

Hey everyone,

So I got a call from my congressman a few days ago saying that I was nominated, and after checking the USMA portal it says “NJ02, NJ02,” and then my other ROTC nomination. So I was just wondering if the two NJ02 nominations means I was nominated twice, or was that just an error? Thanks!!

Possibly. Your MOC could have 2 openings and submitted to 2 slates this year.

While not common, it is certainly possible to receive a double nom to an academy from the same MOC. DD1 received 2 noms to USMA from our Senator, so it does happen.
