Type 1 changed to Type 7

DS was checking his portal to see if he had heard on the Space Force scholarship. He has already been offered a Type 1 scholarship with AFROTC. However, when he checked this time, there was nothing from SF and his AFROTC scholarship has been changed to Type 7 without any explanation. He has emailed his contact, and hasn’t heard back yet. Has anyone else had this?

Not quite the same but similar. I received a Type 1 already but now my status has changed to "Reboarded" so I am very confused as well.
 
Reboarded here to, what the heck is going on with AF? I received my 4-Year Navy/Marine ROTC scholarship about 4 weeks after I submitted my application, the whole process was so seamless and easy.
 
Curious...are all the ones showing up reboarded after earning a scholarship also applying Space Force?
 
Wow! So, individuals were given a scholarship then had it yanked back for a Reboard? Unbelievable........
 
Some clarification. DS just got notified that in the portal when it changed from Type 1 to Type 7 for AFROTC it was actually for Space Force.

How do you know which one is for which? Does the type 7 say space force anywhere?

Who notified him? Did he send an email or is there something in the portal. I have looked and can't find anything. My son also received a Type 7.

He received an email from someone within Space Force who he has been in contact with. It hasn't updated in his portal.
