Type of nom received...

Hello all - my first post to a very informative site!

A question I have as my DS recently received both a 3Q letter and congressional nomination -- is there any reason that a FFR or congressional staff member wouldn't share what type of nomination he was granted? Just wondering if asking this is appropriate or not at this point in process...

I don’t think there is any harm in asking the MOC’s office as to the type of slate that will be submitted and if other than a competitive slate whether your DS was the principal or not.

i would think they would notify if they use principal nom?
