U S Navy ROTC DoDMERB Qualified

Today I received notification from DoDMERB with new activity in my account. I have been "Qualified" for USAFA and USNA for a few months now. I was a bit concerned wondering what is this new activity about. I logged in to find out I am "Qualified" as of today for the U. S. Navy ROTC. My status has not changed in my NROTC portal, and I have not been offered a scholarship at this point. My application is still under review. Does anyone have any insight to "why" this DoDMERB activity happened? Is it a good sign of a potential scholarship, or is it just normal in the application process when being considered for a NROTC HSSP? Just curious,,,,Thanks in advance!
 
I don't have an answer but wanted to recommend that you take your photo off of your profile. It always best to be as anonymous as possible on discussion boards. Good luck!

Hopefully there are none on these boards and I've seen nothing but love and support in every post, but if someone malicious figures out who you are, all it takes is an anonymous email allegation of something untoward to one of the places you've told everyone you've applied to cause you substantial pain and suffering.

Thanks for the timeline info. That will be amazing news if it is the case! I do not want to get my hopes up. Waiting is the hardest part!
 
teamluke - The RIGHT answer. If you are DoDMERB qualified for NROTC, that's because NROTC downloaded you for a DoDMERB certification :wiggle:
 
I got the exact same thing.

Email from DoDMERB telling me I have a "new correspondence".
Checked the portal and it says US Navy ROTC - Qualified.

Let's go baby. Time to lock it in.
 
Same here for the email. In a past thread someone mentioned that they got the DODMERB update a few days before their portal updated so I was looking for that to happen during this board and sure enough it did. I’m very honored to have this opportunity and I can’t thank anyone on this forum enough for their thoughtful advice! Congrats to @Very Petty and @teamluke for your scholarships as well!
