why they argued against it?

In Early Action, it's amazing to see the stats of some of the kids schools defer. Near perfect GPAs and SAT/ACTs with an EC list a mile long. The schools protect their yield by pushing these students to the RD round. Alot of high-stat deferred kids get in somewhere else early and withdraw their deferred apps.

^ Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately UNC can be, and is, extremely selective. Hope the appeal

I work for unc and for a public college it is one of the hardest to get into by far.
