I was wondering about how long does it take for “Under Dodmerb review” status to change after completing a remedial and is there any way to expedite that process.
My son got emails back, after submitting three remedial items, that said they could take up to 15 days to process! Luckily, his first two items were cleared in 1-2 days. Still waiting on item 3.I was wondering about how long does it take for “Under Dodmerb review” status to change after completing a remedial and is there any way to expedite that process.
What status changes can be expected after submitting remedial on a case that was already “under waiver review”? Will it just go back from awaiting receipt of remedial to “under waiver review” after DoDMERB processes and provides the remedial info to the waiver authority? And then we’ll just be waiting again but this time for a final decision? I tried to look at the flow chart but didn’t see these steps. Thank you. This is the busiest time of the year, so depending on the complexity of the case; our manning; and the workload, it may take as many as 7 business days
Thank you.Options: Awaiting receipt of remedial (AMI); Meets Medical Standards; Does Not meet Medical Standards; Under waiver review
So if it changes from under dodmerb review back to under waiver review... what does that mean?Options: Awaiting receipt of remedial (AMI); Meets Medical Standards; Does Not meet Medical Standards; Under waiver review
Ok, so if I am understanding correctly. If I have an LOA, and my dodmerb portal changed from under dodmerb review (after receiving remedials) back to under waiver review, then that means I’m essentially appointed? Or am I reading this wrong? It means your status if final by DoDMERB. If Admissions determines you are "competitive for an offer of appointment," they will pursue a medical waiver for you
Essentially my status has went from. LOA conditional with accepted waiver as dodmerb status was under waiver review. To then ami‘s requested. Then to under dodmerb review. Was told it would be 15 days and then decision would be made. And now it is changed back to under waiver review.Ok, so if I am understanding correctly. So this decision falls under the “15 days to process remedials”. Or am I waiting for something else to happen in DoDMERB as well.It means exactly this: It means your status if final by DoDMERB. If Admissions determines you are "competitive for an offer of appointment," they will pursue a medical waiver for you

[You are now waiting for the service academy to review everything and decide on whether they will grant you a waiver. DODMERB is done with their review. So this decision falls under the “15 days to process remedials”. Or am I waiting for something else to happen in DoDMERB as well.
Can you share if your son got cleared on the eczema or not? Thanks! My son got emails back, after submitting three remedial items, that said they could take up to 15 days to process! Luckily, his first two items were cleared in 1-2 days. Still waiting on item 3.
Still in progress. There was an issue with the third AMI (which he only found out about after he inquired about the still pending item). He provided revised documentation tonight and now we wait again. If that item gets processed quickly (I’m praying it does), he’ll then be waiting on the waiver authority for a decision. Can you share if your son got cleared on the eczema or not? Thanks!
My son just got an email from the academy (USMMA in this case) that his medical waiver was approved! Hoping for an offer of appointment soon...he’s been waiting on this waiver for what feels like an eternity. He does have an LOA, that’s what makes me bold enough to think that an offer is forthcoming. Good luck to everyone still waiting, it is very stressful!!Still in progress.
