I have been under waiver review since 11/7/19 and I am wondering how much longer it will take for them to come to a decision? Does this over a month wait mean that I am not likely in receiving a waiver?
Background information:
I dislocated my elbow in 2014 doing tumbling and had to get it reset. No surgery required and I have full mobility back.
I am a competitive applicant to USAFA. I completed my application by my November 1st deadline and I have two nominations from my senators.
10/21/2019 - Exam date
11/4/2019 - Exam Received
11/7/2019 - Single Disqualification (D225.50 History of any dislocation, subluxation or instability of elbow)
Current Status: Under Waiver Review (since 11/7)
I am worried I will not be considered for an appointment because of this, so any information is helpful!

Did USAFA request a waiver on your behalf? I believe you would have gotten a letter attached to your portal. If not, you are waiting for them to request, and I believe they need to see you as admissible in order to want to request the waiver. Under Waiver Review simply means that the information is there, should the WA be asked to look at it. My DS has been Under Waiver Review since August. Hoping they want him and will request a waiver... He was done with his app at the beginning of October, has two noms, but his test scores are at the lower end of the "average" scores; retesting ACT in a week. All else is solid/good. Waiting is terribly hard.

Ok, then I am in the same boat as your DS. My ACT score is a 28 so I am worried about that but I hope my grades, leadership, and community involvement will compensate. Thank you for the clarification. This waiting makes me so anxious!

I'm in the same boat, kinda.

I'm a USN College Program Advanced Standing MIDN, and am waiting for a waiver. My paperwork was submitted at the end of October. Should I be concerned?
