Hi, I am a USNA Class of 2026 applicant. I am not sure if this is a DoDMERB issue or not. I have been Under Waiver Review for USNA since October 25, 2021 for a DQ, Anisometropia in excess of 3.5 diopters. Submitted an exam from my Optometrist in early November, that found results within approved range. Received MOC nom yesterday, so I am anxious to hear about medical. A waiver was granted for NROTC on December 7, 2021, though I understand that that doesn't mean anything for USNA. Appreciate any guidance or advice!

Here is an email I received from USAFA (I know this is from USAFA, but I assume the same rule applies here):
"We realize that the DoDMERB portal may state that your status is "Pending Waiver Submission/Review" or "Under Waiver Review." We want to make sure that you are aware that this does not imply that USAFA has requested a waiver. In the event that a waiver is requested on your behalf, you will receive notification on your Admissions portal."
I am also medically DQ'ed from USNA, and have not received anything from them saying that they will request a waiver on my behalf. Not sure if this is the case with you, but just wanted to let you know!
