I'm currently underway somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean. I'll try to participate as much as I can (when appropriate) in discussions on the boards, but varying watch schedules and internet connectivity can make that hard.
First day out ran into 10+ ft seas. That's not too rough, but with no time to get sea legs after being in for a couple of months, if gave some people issues. We also had some freezing issues in the early going...
For my sake, and yours, please practice safe boating and respect small craft advisories, they are there for a reason. We invest a lot of ourselves in Search and Rescue, so the less we have to do that, the less gray hairs I will get.
