Updated Portal After Defferal

Son emailed his AO this evening requesting guidance as to how things proceed for the reconsideration after providing the documentation requested in their 12/21/23 early action deferral letter.

Maybe USCGA needs to tweak the portal for applicants who applied early action and were deferred for another look?

I agree. It’s nerve wracking to not know if the updates were made. So much work goes into the application and updates. Best of luck to all

Same here, I emailed Mr. Beckwith with my updates and he told me they were made, but couldnt see if those changes were made on my app either

Son received a reply stating that USCGA has received everything they asked for as part of the reevaluation, said he’ll receive an email when he’s getting the second look.

Our designated regional admissions officer that he’s been corresponding with since we first met during our first family visit to USCGA last summer.

Son has been emailing with our regional AO with a “Cc:” to LT Nelson as directed in the deferral correspondence.

When providing documents, son always “Cc:” Mr. Beckwith as well as his AO.
