It depends. This past year it seemed most I know of were in the 1-3 month range. However it really varies from year to year and unit to unit. Plan as if you can go at any time, but also have a back up if you realize it'll be a while. Just keep in mind that you likely won't find out when you're actually going until ~1-2 months out.
