USAFA Appointment Folder (Blue Folder) arrival

I was wondering if there was even going to be something coming out like this! I received my appointment back in December and didn't hear anything about a blue folder. Good to know they are at least making their way out, but I've got a while to go being an S.

My son is eagerly awaiting his (we are an S so it might be a while still?). Could you possibly upload a picture of the presentation ceremony guidelines page you got? My son contacted his ALO to see if he could find him anything like that because his school wants to do something at Senior awards next week but he hasn’t gotten back to him yet.

I didn't take a photo of the letter included but basically it said congratulations and high schoolers could reach out to your ALO to coordinate with your school to do a presentation during graduation. Nothing very specific as I recall. My DS gave us the name of the ALO in his portal and we forwarded his information to our school counselor in case they wanted to do something during the grad ceremony. I can try to get the exact text of the letter if you wish and PM you later tonight.

My ALO is unavailable but he asked another ALO to do it. It took a while for him to get approval from USAFA. My high school had to confirm they are taking COVID preventative measures.
I haven’t received my BFE yet either. My mom said she may have to get creative.
I have another BFE from a different SA so she would use the wording off of that.

That’s wonderful that your ALO contacted another one for you since they were busy.
I was trying to use the wording off of the Merchant Marine ceremony but it was pretty tailored to that academy so I was hoping to get more specific information for USAFA. Congrats by the way!

That’s the one my mom was going to use- but we haven‘t looked at it closely enough yet since the ceremony is 2 weeks away. I guess we better. Thanks for the heads up.

I tried to message you don't have enough messages. It is a very generic "Dear Appointee" congrats letter. Says your ALO was informed of your appointment and may reach out to coordinate a presentation. It then says for high school students, you can reach out to your ALO to inform them with your graduation ceremony date/time.

Looks like someone posted a photo of the actual certificate above if you want to see what it looks like. Feel free to message me if you need anything else.
