Our DS accepted his the next evening. He's 77 on this list.

Dumb question that maybe you or someone can answer....will he receive anything other than the letter on his portal? You know, something we can display at his grad party or he can take a pic with at school? Thanks

I believe the ALO can get a certificate to present to him. I know some ALOs don't though. Other than that, nothing in the mail, etc.

Agreed, my son has heard from a few,people who got declined letters, a few yes, one in our area last week nj05, I don't know, if the longer we wait is,for a better outcome (appointment) or worse. We go to a,congressional congratulations luncheon this Thursday to meet & greet our nominating congressman. We'll graciously thank him of course, but going with a appointment with our fist pumped would be real nice as,opposed to we still don't know or declined, it's,been the longest 3 months of my families,life!!.

Just out of curiosity, or statistical reasons, how many of the above appointees have actually accepted their nomination to USAFA?
My DD accepted hers 3 days after notification on 2/28/16

I am waiting to hear back from USNA before making my decision...
