Just a heads up, I did some exploratory analysis on how self-reported USAFA appointments accumulate over time on this website. Please see below for what I think is the "key result".

Reports tend to trickle in from the end of October to the beginning of March. The bulk of appointments are reported in March. You might say that March is the month. After March, the reports go back to a trickle. Before drawing any conclusions, keep in mind that the type of people who are self-reporting appointments on this website may not be representative of the population of all applicants. That being said, I think this is a pretty good indicator of when to expect to hear any news. I know it is a tough wait, but good luck!

Also, looks like I never went back and finished for 2023. . .

Thanks! I started my pre-candidate questionnaire early, and thus had an early application deadline (November 4th). I finished everything except for the interview about two weeks in advance. I believe the main reason I received an appointment early is because I received an AFJROTC nomination in early November, which is a few weeks before the majority of candidates receive Senatorial/Congressional nominations. Additionally, I was invited to a program called Falcon Visitation Experience (there's a thread on it). To be honest I don't think I'm any more qualified than the average USAFA cadet, I just happened to be "in the right place at the right time."

Hope we can meet at USAFA. BTW, I am come from GA. My application deadline same day like you. I got my nomination from Senator Johnny Isakson last week and qualified medical exam.
