Keep your head up... Supposedly March is the month that MOST hear about their appointment... so, you are in the same position as MOST.

I do recall that a 8x11 envelope showed up one day in the mail from USAFA. Pins and needles watching my son open a lovely calendar. We learned that the mail won’t provide anything that you won’t already know first from email/portal. TWE and BFE are figurative only these days.

Yes, She got a call from the senator's office. Followed a day or two later by a letter from the Senator's office. In about a week, she received her certificate and letter from the USAFA Dir of Admissions

My DD the one IL Falcon Scholars, I know that another IL Falcon at MMI was also offered & accepted an appointment to USAFA. There were 3 other IL Falcons that my daughter knows of, and they all received appointments, but not sure if they accepted.

I don't see an option to submit 7th semester transcripts on the portal. Did you just ask your guidance counselor to just send your transcript to the admissions office or is there a submission button that I am not seeing.

You have to go to your school counselor and ask them to submit it online or through the mail. My school uses Naviance, and our counselors are very proactive. They submit fall transcripts to all of the schools you apply for the day they come out, through Naviance- meaning that I didn't have to ask for it to be submitted. I'd imagine that depending on the system your school uses, you need to go talk to your counselor if they haven't popped up as received on your USAFA admissions portal yet. If your counselor says that they don't have a way to submit them online (USAFA won't accept emailed copies), then provide them with the mailing address that's located inside your Candidate Handbook.

We asked guidance counselor to send, and then verified (via email) with the admissions liaison that the USNA admissions office had received them. After the initial application is complete you have to contact your admissions liaison to make any changes or additions.

I couldn't tell you. I'm in the same anxious waiting boat as you are, and it sucks! From my knowledge, USAFA is different from the other service academies due to the fact that they don't request the transcripts on an individual basis (but I could be wrong). Instead, they say this in the Candidate booklet:
"If your transcript was sent during the first semester of your senior year, you must ensure your high school sends us a transcript with seventh semester grades as soon as they are available."
I'd assume that if they review your file before you've submitted your new transcript it's not a make or break issue, but if I were you I'd have them sent ASAP.

My DD wanted to go to USNA since middle school and received appointments to USNA and USAFA
She chose USAFA and declined USNA.
Off we go into the wild blue yonder.

She made a very wise choice.
