For anyone interested in what jobs you can get out of USAFA here is some recent data. Past performance does not predict future outcomes. Needs of the service take precedence.

That's strange - no wonder contracting and FM are impossibly over-worked and my career field (61D) feels slim

Where were you able to get this? This is really cool to see! USNA posts something like this publicly and I was wondering why USAFA didn't.

Thanks.. Great info. So if I am to understand the USAFA process a bit more. Upcoming grads list a "wish list" of their preferred area of assignment and then needs of AF and SF dictate and they are placed? Is the column on the right a breakdown of Space Force assignments? Is there currently a limit to the number of grads that can go SF? If you could also help the Navy guy with an explanation of rated versus non-rated and the acronyms CSO ABM and RPA. Looks like about half of the class goes pilot?

Yes, cadets rank their choices and are accommodated as best possible using order of merit in their class and needs of the service.

The 5 career fields under “USSF” in the right column are Space Force. Below that they are under the Air Force heading. I’m unsure of the current number limits for Space Force.

Rated means a job requiring an aeronautical rating.
CSO is Combat Systems Officer (Navigator, Weapons Systems Officer)
ABM is Air Battle Manager. That’s the air boss who is riding on the AWACS or other airframe who is directing an air battle from there.
RPA is Remotely Piloted Aircraft. Drones.
