About a year ago USAFA Admissions has a great, informative and frequent social media presence on Instagram. Ever since then it's been (almost) radio silence. Anyone know what happened? Are they active on other platforms like FB or Twitter? I know they've been posting candidates with their appointment letters, but even that's infrequent.

I'm guessing that you are referring to academyadmissions which is the official admissions IG for USAFA. They said they would be more active this year and they haven’t exactly kept that promise but it is still only February. The official Academy IG is pretty active and they are also active on FB.

The 1/c Cadet who ran academyadmissions stepped down from running the account as she was graduating. It seems that no one has really picked the account back up since then. The account that is posting appointments is unaffiliated with USAFA and is being run by a third party.
