USAFA Portal and CFA Pass/Fail Status

DS took the CFA on 10/28, but got bad cramps and didn't perform well. The Coach submitted the scores anyway. USAFA Admissions immediately sent an email offering a second opportunity within 30 days. The red X changed to a green checkmark next to "Candidate Fitness Assessment received" (but no indication on the portal of "pass" vs "fail" despite the email) and a new line with a Red X appeared: "2nd Candidate Fitness Assessment not received."

Today he took the CFA again, and significantly improved his scores! The "2nd Candidate Fitness Assessment not received" changed to a green checkmark next to "2nd Candidate Fitness Assessment received." Again, no clear indication of pass or fail. The portal is still accessible, no emails were sent to DS stating a pass or failure, and the only red X remaining on the checklist is the "Nomination not received."

Question: Does anyone know whether a passing CFA will actually show on the USAFA portal as "Pass"? I thought I read on this forum that other SAs do show a pass/fail status. Does USAFA only show a green checkmark and we just proceed on an assumption that it was passing? I suspect it is the latter, but wanted to ask as we can't be the only ones wondering about this. Thanks!

Green is good.
I thought so, too. But the first go-around on the CFA, which resulted in the Admissions office offering a second opportunity to retake, also showed as green even though it wasn't good. Maybe the first one wasn't a failure, but was on the line and that's why they wanted him to retake? So it sounds like there's no positive confirmation of Pass vs Fail, just a green checkmark that it is completed (received), regardless of pass/fail status.

As far as I know, but who really knows😀
