USAFA Questions

Hi,

I will be attending USAFA and I just had a few questions that maybe some of you guys can help me out with.

1. What are the requirements for a cadet to be sent to med school after graduation? Also, what major would you recommend for someone looking to go down that path?

2. Recently I've been doing a lot of research on CRO's and PJ's. How many cadets per class actually get the opportunity to go through indoc and is there a special process that you would have to go through?

3. Lets just say you were able to make it through indoc and become a CRO (Yes I know its very very very difficult), would it be better to attend med school before or after your career as a CRO?

Hi there,

1. You need to graduate near the top of your class. I don't know that there are any specific requirements beyond that but I would think that a biology major with a pre-med track (I think there is a track for pre-med) would be helpful.

2. I can't really help you hear.

3. I don't know for certain, but I would think that those career fields would be mutually exclusive.
