At the earliest, the acceptances come out in mid February.
So will the status remain as the 'Application submitted(not processed...)' until acceptance/denial?
He received an email notification on Feb 13, 2016. The email notification was sent something like at 4 am (it must have been computer generated).
Same thing happened for me.This morning I was moved to 'applicant,' so I'm guessing from here it's either an acceptance or denial.
Does your application say under consideration.I submitted my application on 12/20 and my status was moved to 'applicant' 2-3 days later if I remember correctly. I'm pretty sure that status changes happen at different times for everybody, though. It seems that some people submitted their application on the day it opened but just recently got 'applicant' status. I'm not positive that this is how it works, but it's just something I've noticed.

So people have already been accepted.Thanks. Just wondering because I just saw a post from a HS junior about USAFA SS acceptance.
I don't believe any applicants have been accepted yet. The application I submitted on the 12th says "Applicant (your application is under consideration)," so I think the admissions board is now reviewing all of the applications and will be sending out either acceptances or denials in February. Good luck to all!So people have already been accepted.

They send an email. I got my acceptance email Feb 13th so it will probably be around that time.My application says "under consideration". Do they send out emails with acceptances or denials, or just show it on your portal?
